CHUTNEY is a Sydney-based ensemble of passionate, talented musicians who play their unique brand of world music with crisp-as-a-cucumber melodies and the taste of cultural fusion. A dash of klezmer, a splash of funk, some middle-eastern vibes, not to mention shmultz and the odd blues notes, and you have Chutney.
On stage, everything is allowed: expect jazzy improvisation jams to high-spirited melodies that will surprise you. They come together for a spicy blend of sounds that will make your body dance and your ears sing.

We frequently play corporate events, celebrations, weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs - we especially love horas.
